Post Doctoral Fellow (Plant Molecular Biology / Plant-Microbe Interactions)
Faculty of Agriculture
Dalhousie University
Job Description
Two postdoctoral fellow positions are available at the Marine Bioproduct Research Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University, to investigate the molecular mechanisms of plant biostimulants in both model and crop plants. Our cutting-edge research is focused on developing innovative technologies to enhance plant resilience to climate change. The postdoctoral fellows will play a key role in a collaborative project, exploring the metabolic pathways, gene networks, and plant-root microbe interactions that drive plant biostimulant-mediated tolerance to abiotic stresses, including salinity, temperature, and drought. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in their areas of expertise and gain valuable experience in supervising research projects.
