A Ph.D. or M.Sc. Position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Susanne Kohalmi https://www.uwo.ca/biology/faculty/kohalmi/. The preferred starting date is September 2026 but the date is negotiable. We are studying a small family of enzymes in Arabidopsis to understand how small sequence changes affect subcellular localization, substrate specificity, protein-protein interaction profiles or moonlighting functions. We are particularly interested to understand how these characteristics are linked to post-translational modifications and influenced by environmental conditions.
